Masters in Hospital management essentially a degree where the fields of management, health care services, hospitality, finances, leadership, and administration coordinate accordingly. The course grants a person an ability to regulate, systemise, organize and control medical services.
MHA course is the two-year program done after the basic under- graduation degree. The professionals of this sector are also responsible for managing finances, physical resources, security provisions, and community relations. They are responsible for both the patients and the medical professionals working within the hospital. A student learns to lead, innovate, and drive healthcare forward with their expertise and leadership abilities.
To be eligible for admission a candidate shall have obtained: Bachelor degree in any one of the following - MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, B.Pharmacy, B.Sc. in Allied Health Sciences, Arts, Commerce, Law, Engineering or Management from an institution recognized by respective council as applicable, and is affiliated to Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) or from any other university established under law considered equivalent there to by Yenepoya (Deemed to be University). The candidate shall have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate of marks in all the years of university examination of degree course. In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks shall be 45%.

The duration of the MHA programme is 2 years or 4 semesters. Each semester comprises a minimum of 15 weeks with a minimum of 90 actual working days of instruction. On successful completion of the required credits, the student will be awarded a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration according to the chosen specialization.
