The M.Sc. Respiratory Therapy program offers advanced training in respiratory therapy, including advanced respiratory care, clinical training, research skills, and management and leadership skills. Graduates can pursue careers in hospitals, clinics, research institutions, and leadership positions in respiratory therapy. They may also continue their education by pursuing a Ph.D. in Respiratory Therapy or related fields.
The students who have passed with minimum of 50 % in B.Sc. RCT/RT or B.Sc. Critical Care Therapy from institutions where mode of study is a full-time program with internship in universities considered equivalent by Yenepoya (Deemed to be) University are eligible for M.Sc. Respiratory Therapy program. Candidates completing B.Sc. RCT/RT or B.Sc. Critical Care Therapy through correspondence course shall not be eligible. In case of SC/ST/OBC candidates the minimum marks shall be 45%.
2 Years
The duration of the programme shall extend over 4 semesters, each semester comprising minimum of 15 weeks with the minimum of 90 actual working days of instruction in each semester. The successful completion of the Post graduate program, will lead to Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy
